LAUREN HARRIS

Her biography ? Here & here ! And, I'm really kind with you because that's me who wrote it ! Yeeees !

From the left to the right, let me introduce you : Tommy McWilliams, drummer & producer of the band - Lauren "Pretty Pitchoune" Harris on the vocals - Richie Faulkner on the guitar - and Randy Gregg on the bass guitar !

So, by the way, I introduce you the beautiful website created by my friend Musky & myself ! An exciting adventure to help the future career they deserve extremely well ! Both in french & english, isn't it good ?

I discovered her thanks to the net, in earlier 2006 and she please me...  Can we call that a heartbreak ? I should say a musical heartbreak so !

She is very beautiful that's true...and by the way, she probably wonder if...so, let's say it once : Yes, that's Steve Harris'daughter ! The eldest...but that's not the most important for me ! Oh, yes, we can say "Good blood don't lie !" and in fact, I really trust in her talent !

She has a so great voice ! Pop music ? Noooooooooooooooo ! Classic Rock, I prefer !

So, I have the great pleasure to have contact (thanks to my studies !!!) with her management - Hello Steve (Altman), hello Tommy ! - and it gave birth to a full website - thanks a lot Musky ! - that we decided to call "Lauren Harris France" ! Yes, because, the webmastress is the one Of "Iron Maiden France" website so it was totally logical !

And that's why you have these links in the right part of this blog called "Liens" ( a little bit of french can't kill you ! It's good, fun & original ! lol ! ).

Thanks to my studies (to become a producer in music, cinema, TV...), I really want to do my best for her because I'm so happy to help a talented artist in his career !

You will read, I always talk about her, it's just something I use to do & I can't impeach myself...

So, you see, that website & this blog ask a lot of time for me so I try to do my best as possible...

If there's something I really want to talk about, it was that : Iron Maiden.

Don't expect a biography, because I think if you interest, you will know by yourself and I'm not wikipedia... I'm mad you know ! And I prefer to put on the light the great job of a friend of mine who will explain you better than me... It's just here ! Enjoy and don't forget to be back here, lol !

Well, let's do it as I really really want to do it...

I became fan thanks to my brother who gave me the "Brave New World" album... It was...somewhere  in  earlier september 2004 and I needed to hear a new sound because I was really  fed up with all of that same music  broadcast on radio...

And I discover Maiden... What a shock !  It doesn't leave me since that  time ! I really became crzy about this so great sound and so, I wanted to buy albums after albums ! And , at each time, it pleased me !

That's it : I was fan ! (and I'm still today !).

About the band, we could say that's the perfect story of the wish of one person : the bass player Steve Harris. Never let someone do you should do ! You want it so you do it ! A so strong wish !

Formed in 1977 by Steve Harris,  the line-up is since 1999 : Bruce "Air Raid Siren" Dickinson on the vocals, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith & Janick Gers on the guitars, Nicko McBrain on the drums and Steve Harris on the bass guitar.

Don't forget a very good manager, Rod Smallwood, who always take the right decision for the band and NOT to make Iron Maiden only a business band living for money as others does...

Fourteen albums, and lives albums, and compilations, and DVDs...a huge heavy-metal success for this band who really deserve it !

Incredibly and mad tours since the beginnings...

There's a tour  this year, called "Somewhere Back In Time 2008" and you can be sure, I will be somewhere on it, lol ! In Paris - Bercy Arena gigs in fact ! The 01st & 02nd of July ! It seem to be THE tour, so huge, with a real show on stage, the band flying with his entire crew (which is  not often !) in a dedicated plane - the beautiful Ed Force One ! -, and travelling around the world... I wait you Maiden ! See you in Paris !

So that's why I decided to be part of some Iron Maiden's forums !

French first, as Iron Maiden France, and others in Quebec (yes ! why not ?), international forum to discuss with fans from everywhere on this beautiful Earth !

Thanks to that, I can say I have new friends ! Yes, I think that thanks to internet you can become friends with people you doesn't know ! It's just a wish to know them more after chatting on forum, meet them...

O_o ! I just see how difficult it could be to continue a blog !

And not in his mother language also !

But, I say I will do it so come on !

In fact, I want to tell you about several things and this couple of days, it was a little bit like : "Oh, let's talk about that ! Oh no, I prefer that.." etc, etc...

But, finally I'm here, and I will take a decision and do all of it in order please ! lol !

About life in France... You know, from my suburn where I live to the place I work, I have to go through Paris and at each time, I can't impeach me to say how beautiful it is ! I mean, yes, there's a lot of city in this world so beautiful too but I don't know them  ! Paris, I live there for 10 years so I really know all of the city (I want to !) and it's so beautiful... I hope to be able to post a couple of pictures of it, for you to see !

As I'm a student in a cinematographic school, I really want to film a short-movie in Paris and for that, I remind some places ! Hum, I'm so exciting by that !

Here is Dagy, a very nice frenchy as you will see if you often read this new blog !

So, there we are... Well, the exercice is not simple as I was thinking...

Let's begins with me ! I have decide to have my blog there's a couple of month but I never begans...until now ! It will be in english because I know lots of frenchys has their blog but there're all in french ! So, I think that it could be interesting for people who's not french to know a little bit more on how we live in France ! I hope you will enjoy the things ! So, let's go !

I'm 21, I live in the beautiful suburn of Paris in France, in a beautiful city called Herblay & I'm a student in Audiovisual Production in the International Film School of Paris... For the future, I want to work in the music entertainment or cinema...as a production assistant to begin ! I really want to organize gigs, shows or film a movie (short or long) and that's why I choose that studies !

My hobbies ? Internet, radio & music !

Indeed, I'm a radio host in a little show called "Motus" since 5 years now. My actual chronicle is called "Rock Story" & I very enjoy to host each week !

Also, some of you will may say : "Oh... Dagy... I have already see that name somewhere..." Of course ! Because I also have my myspace (www.myspace.com/dagimaiden), I 'm a member of lots of forums & I have created, with the help of a friend... Musky, a full website dedicated to Lauren Harris !

So, let know more on my favourite music... I'm a huge fan of Iron Maiden for years (Maiden Rules !!!) thanks to my brother ! Also, when I knew for the bassist-founder Steve Harris' daughter - it was in 2006 !- I said to myself : "Whow ! What a talented girl !" and I began to become fan...

I listen to all of kind of music, but more metal music : Mylene Farmer, Jean-Michel Jarre...and  Iron Maiden, Lauren Harris, Rammstein, Within Temptation, AC/DC, DragonForce, Lordi, Apocalyptica, Nightmare, Trust...

That's a short introduction but don't be afraid ! I will come back soon & I will detail all that points...

I may write a post in one day, two or in one week...as I can update it 2 minutes later ! lol !
